Safe and clean dental office for patients during COVID-19 pandemic. If you’re like many Americans, your routine cleaning and checkup have probably been delayed because many dental offices have been closed to combat the spread of COVID-19. With cases of the virus declining, many dental practices are starting to open their doors to offer routine services again. While restrictions are lifting, it’s normal to wonder if it’s safe to visit your dentist? Rest assured, our office follows the strictest safety protocols to ensure our office is clean to reduce your risk of the coronavirus.

Is it safe to visit the dentist?

We live in unusual times as we experience several changes in many areas of our lives. Our office is adapting to increase dental safety and cleanliness. While dental offices are already some of the cleanest places, we have also enhanced our sanitation standards to meet or exceed those required by the CDC, OSHA, and the ADA. We take your safety seriously, so you have nothing to worry about when visiting our office.

How is my dentist keeping me safe?

Our team has undergone advanced training in awareness and prevention in several aspects of sanitation and personal hygiene to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. Besides wearing the appropriate personal protection, like gloves and masks, we are also performing daily health checks. Although we’re happy to see you, we aren’t shaking hands or offering hugs to maintain a proper distance.

To promote social distancing, we’ve created a virtual waiting room to limit your contact with other people. We are also reducing the number of people we see each day. This gives us more time to clean the office between patients. We will wipe, sanitize, and disinfect our instruments, surfaces, and equipment before and after your visit.

We have also changed the air you breathe while in our office because we’ve added HEPA-grade filters to our HVAC system. We also have stand-alone air cleaners in each operatory area. From the moment you walk into our office, you’ll notice we have a higher standard for your safety to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Our office also features a hospital-grade hand sanitizing station. We ask our patients to thoroughly disinfect their hands before entering the clinical area of our office. We will also provide you with an anti-microbial mouthrinse to use for 60 seconds to reduce harmful bacteria in your mouth.

Our staff will wear the appropriate masks and even a face shield while we’re in contact with you. This is essential for both your safety and ours to prevent spreading the virus.

Choose the Highest Standard for Safety

If it has been over 6 months since your last visit or you’ve been putting a dental treatment on hold, there’s no reason to wait to see your dentist. You can rest assured, you’re in good hands when visiting our office.
